Hey y'all I'm back with another blog!!! I know it's been a while but I have created something amazing and it's my first time making it. As you can see from the tittle, yes indeed, I made a granny square patchwork cardigan, ( we'll get into the time I had with those granny squares in a minute chile ).
So time for the good part, scroll down below to see the cardigan.

This cardigan took me 5 days to make and I used two different yarn brands, first was big twist and that was for the burnt orange and taupe, then I used red heart for the purple. I ran out of purple and had to buy some more but I would say in total I used about 3 1/2 rolls of yarn.
This project was honestly really fun, and very very tedious at times. I started with making as many squares as i needed and the squares were the the most tedious. Why? because after I made over 50 squares I then realized that I had to weave in each string that i cut after making the squares, and each square had 6 strings attached and phew chile that part got on my nerves lol. I drew a small template on how I wanted my cardigan to look, but honestly I was just learning and designing as I went along with with crocheting it, but wow this has to be the best project I've ever done yet, it's so warm and comfortable I'm absolutely astonished with it! Comment what you think about the cardigan & if I should make a collection of these for my Etsy shop.

My family was so excited to see what I was making, literally in those 5 days of crocheting everyone was asking and guessing and thinking that they knew what it was, but me I knowing that they would have never guessed it made me extra excited to reveal it.
Okay here are the Youtube videos I used to get some ideas for my cardigan.

Don't forget to share and comment what you think about this cardigan and if I should add these to my Etsy shop, so you can rock one too.
